Comics: Original comic book art collection!

       Quick blog update. Decided to make a short video showing my original art collection.
I had been talking to someone on Twitter and couldn't remember what I still owned and what I had sold over time.


       I decided to make a video and figure out that question in real time.
Sadly, I had forgot a lot about some of the story points, and who many of the characters were as I was recording this unrehearsed and got a lot wrong. Thankfully I can remember most of the details now.

       If you don't know what original comic book art is I will be happy to tell you. It is simply the actual art, drawn by the creator, that they use to make the comic books you buy. So each piece is actual art work, drawn by the artist and is one of a kind.

       It is a great hobby to get into if you have a lot of expendable cash but can get expensive depending on the artist, the characters, the page layout and how much nostalgia collectors have over that particular piece.

      Again, it is a great hobby if you are not married and have a lot of free money and free time to put into it. But if you are like me, once you get married etc, you will probably have to stop it for a while.

Add caption Yesterday I got a backer email from Red Rooster's Indiegogo announcing that the second part of the PDF would be emailed to backers that night. I actually got kind of excited,  because as some of you might remember, I enjoyed the art and story of the first PDF  despite some of the problems with lateness and consumer communication with the Breitweisers and their campaign. I joked in a Tweet that a new phrase would rise out of the whole Red Rooster debacle: "Better Late than Red Rooster." The first part of Red Rooster was a big surprise for me personally because even though I had been critical of the Breitweisers and many of the people they associate with,  and I had been vocally critical of the Allegiance Walmart deal and the disappointment many of those books made me feel , I was SHOCKED once I trudged through all of the annoyances of the downloadable comic's DRM to read it and find out that I actually loved the story and the art. Reviews: Literally and Villains of the Snow Sea

  Fool me once... shame on you. Fool me twice... it's time for a review.  It is time for another Totally Biased comic book review and today I will tackle two titles I have bought digitally off of Comixology: LITERALLY by Ran'DeeSha Diaz and DeGlass and VILLAINS of the SNOW SEA by Ran'DeeSha Diaz and Arxelay. I bought Literally originally after watching a YouTube video off of a channel called  Shi**Y Web Comics or SWC revived. I do not know these persons well but have often encountered their Tweets on Twitter and have seen them as guests on YouTube shows that I do like to follow, like  Doug TenNapels' channel  and on  Tim and Marks' Channel 'The Bunderdome' , so I assume it was one of those channels or from one of their Tweets from off of  their Twitter account Thomas Roiloup  that I became aware of them. SoulFinder by Douglas Ernst and Timothy Lim: REVIEW

This is the Totally Biased Comic Book Review of Soulfinder by Douglas Ernst and Timothy Lim. Souldfinder is a great, original property that is somewhat of an interesting mix of G. K. Chesterton's Father Brown and the CW's Supernatural. This graphic novel by  Washington Times  columnist and comic book industry influencer   Doug Ernst  was crowd funded on  IndieGoGo  and raised a respectable 33,237$ for a first time campaign and the creators did an excellent job of fulfilling the project and giving their backers a quality product with no industry drama. I like and follow both  Douglas Ernst  and  Tim Lim  on Twitter. They are both nice guys and treat their fans well and tend to try and stay out of the  "comic book war" dramas that seem a daily part of life on Twitter. I personally feel that Doug sets the standard for how a creator should act "professionally" online and when dealing with the various factions and personalities in the current movement
