Why You Should Back Mari Sue on Kickstarter

The impetuous and powerful Mari Sue is back and ready for action and this time she is on Kickstarter, and I want to share my totally biased but unsolicited opinion why you should give this comic book campaign a good look.

If you missed the last campaign and didn't get the first two issues (volume one) of this beautiful comic book by George Alexopoulos don't fret, the NEW CAMPAIGN makes it easy for you to catch up.

George proved himself as one of the most skilled and talented upcoming artists in the crowd funding scene with Mari Sue's last outing. His art is incredible and beautiful and should be rewarded with great success if there's any fairness in the industry.

I am not exaggerating the significance or the extent of his ability at all. It is important that you do not take my opinion as hyperbole in this case. It is just true.

Even at a relatively young age George has already shown he is a master artist and his work looks effortless and spectacular at the same time.

I feel it is important for those of us who love great comics, and for those of us who honestly hope to see crowd funded comics succeed, to support real and competent artists like George for the good of the whole industry.

I am sure you have probably noticed as I have that we seem to be lacking in actual skilled artists at the moment.

Creators like George who have real talent for art and story telling should really be noticed, endorsed and helped to stand out by any of us who truly love and desire crowd funded comics to succeed.

George is an innovator in more ways than just his amazing art. I look to see him lead the way for creators to take more control of the entire process of creating and fulfilling campaigns and ensuring quality and customer satisfaction.

George, who is a trained printer, wisely took his profits from his last campaign and invested in himself and bought a high quality, industry standard printer that allowed him to take control of his own destiny and control the printing process. The surprising result of this were two of the most beautifully printed and vibrant floppy comics I have ever received. That is including crowd funded comics and comics from the big two publishers. (My actual copies below...)

You have to admire such forward and independent thinking such as that in such an unstable and questionable time that we live in with corporate cancel culture and questionable tech companies. George could very well be leading the way for creators to have even further Independence and autonomy from scrupulous individuals who may seek to further gate-keep and control narratives and talent. George is also giving monthly released digital subscriptions with the printed books as well in yet another innovation.

When you see other creators in this scene talking about the culture war, and the sjws and claiming to be leading us towards a more independent future, remember it is real innovators like George who are the ones making real strides with true change and who are make and producing high quality and professionally drawn comic books all the while not trying to gate-keep other creators.

These are the type of creators if we truly wish to see the movement thrive and grow that we should support and push to the forefront.

So I challenge you, if you love good comics and friendly creators, to go check out GEORGE'S KICKSTARTER and be the patron of the industry as a whole and to also get a great comic book in the process.
